Providing HOPE with a Christmas Heart!

As we approach the Christmas holiday season, we understand that this time of year can be a mix of joy and sadness for many. While some are eagerly decorating their homes and preparing for festivities, others may find themselves facing difficult circumstances, both emotionally and financially. It is during these moments that we are reminded of the true spirit of Christmas – a time for compassion, kindness, and giving.

 

At Mount Hope, we are excited to come together as a community and make a positive impact on those who may need a little extra support and love during this special time of year. We believe that every act of generosity, no matter how small, has the power to bring warmth and light into the lives of others.

 

This Christmas, we have partnered with three organizations, all with the shared goal of spreading love and hope throughout our local and regional community. These partnerships enable us to make a difference in the lives of families who might be facing hardship or loneliness.

Our partnership with the Department of Social Services has ignited a wonderful tradition of Holiday Help for families in need. By clicking the link below, you have the power to make a difference. Once you've filled out the form, you'll be connected with a family, making their holiday wishes come true. By adopting a family, you'll be providing warmth, comfort, and joy to children and families in need, offering them clothing, food, and the magic of the season. Together, we can make a  difference.

We've joined hands with the Marine Corps Reserve for a heartwarming mission - collecting Toys for Tots! This year, we're dedicated to lighting up the faces of girls aged 11-14 with the warmth of the holiday season. Our mission? To ignite smiles that radiate happiness, hope, and the belief that Christmas wishes do come true. Remember, all toys should be left unwrapped.

 

Approved Items: Sports balls, craft sets, Legos, skateboards, and any gifts that will delight girls within the mentioned age group.

Non-Approved Items: No bath sets, liquids, electronics, or clothing, please.

 

Kindly drop off your contributions at the church office.

This year, our hearts are set on collecting 1,500 pairs of white tube socks for the men and women at Rappahannock County Regional Jail. We've always exceeded our goals in the past, and with your incredible support, we know we can make it happen once more. The socks must be all white, and they come in various sizes to ensure everyone feels the warmth of the season.
