MHBC Returns to the Sanctuary

Your physical and spiritual health are our highest priorities.

In the face of challenges presented by Covid-19, being able to worship together has never been more important. With your safety in mind, we are beginning to gather responsibly. For those unable to attend in person, join us online!

Registration is required to attend a Mount Hope Baptist Church in-person / indoor worship service.

Hybrid Worship at MHBC

Beginning October 10, 2021 Mount Hope Baptist Church will offer a hybrid in-person and online worship service experience that is pleasing to God, our in-person congregation, and our online worshipers. Registration is required for all in-person attendance. Mount Hope COVID-19 In-Person Safety Guidelines will be enforced.

The following activities will not be provided in-person/onsite until further notice: Nursery, Children’s Church and Sunday School.

What to Expect

  • Our Greeter Team will welcome you as you enter the building.
  • Once in the sanctuary, you will be guided to your seat by our Usher team. You are welcome to sit with your family or friends you arrived with, and be appropriately spaced from others.
  • At the end of service, our Ushers will provide exit instructions for managing traffic flow.
  • WAVES: We are encouraging waves instead of hugs, and forearm bumps instead of handshakes. If you test positive for COVID, feel sick or have been exposed to anyone who has been in the last 10 days, please join us virtually at mthopeva.online.church.
  • MASKS: Everyone 2 years old and older will be required to wear a mask that’s comfortable, appropriate and covers both your nose and mouth at all times. We will have extra masks available for anyone who needs one.

  • OFFERING: Our offering will remain digital. You may give online anytime HERE. Cash and checks in envelopes may be “touchlessly” dropped off in the tithing box located at in the church foyer.

  • COMMUNION: We will not pass trays during communion. All persons will receive communion upon entry into the sanctuary.

We can’t wait to see you there!

What You Should Know

  • Between Sunday services, every surface area will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized per CDC and state guidelines.
  • We are soliciting previous and potential volunteers to serve by a separate survey. Volunteer training is provided.
